I'm having a great month this month teaching classes, and working on new illustration projects but inspiration is always welcomed. Here are today's illustration finds from wonderful artists I think you guys should definitely check out.

"Sloppy, but it's a vibe."
It's been a hot (or cold) minute, but here are my favorite digital, and traditional art pieces of April.
All links to the original artists, and names are provided below each illustration. Happy binging.

So this is the artstyle I’ll be sticking to in 2019 (not for my comics though). Simmering Rage is the first in the “Drawings of Cute Girls” series. Today it’s artstyle as that’s what I’m working on improving. Next up will be backgrounds and scenery as I really need to work on those to improve my overall vision before continuing anymore projects.
Below are some of my favorite digital art illustrations, digital art paintings, and---basically everything digital drawings of the day. I went to artstation, and started on an art binge. Artstation is my favorite digital illustration app, and I definitely recommend that you get it if you are an art lover or an artist yourself (it can be any art medium, and no this is not sponsored. I just love artstation, and yes, I think it's way better than deviant art--yes I said it! I said what I said). I shared 3-4 illustrations from each artist, and linked to all them so you guys can follow the ones you like, because I love their work so much, and I hope you guys love it too. Let the art feast begin!
Today, she is Eternal.
So, I love to look at other artists on Instagram, artstation, and tumblr but I rarely share them here with you guys on Visualartzi.
I wanted to take some time out today, and share some of the digital illustrations I love. Today’s feature artist is Olivia Derivas (A.K.A. Taozipie)! I just started following her work a few days ago, and I simply just fell in love with it.
You can find her work on Artstation:
Today I had a bit of finger painting fun with Adobe Draw on my iphone. I can honestly say I like it a lot better than Adobe Illustrator.
It's been a long time coming, but I finally got a chance to upload it!
In this video I show you guys how I create a few of my coloring journal pages using canva. I have been creating, and ordering prints of my custom planner journals using blurb and canva for a while now, and thought I could share a bit of my process.
This is more so a brief overview of what I do rather than an in depth tutorial.
I mostly use PNG images with transparent backgrounds so that I don't have an issue combining multiple images.
I converted all the illustrations from vectors to PNG ahead of time.
Most of the wonderful images of the cute girl drawings are from Adobe Stock, but I also edited them myself so the original images won't exactly look like the ones I edited in the video, but the look will still be somewhat similar.

Thanks for watching. I hope you were inspired to create your own journal.
I was inspired to create this illustration when I stumbled upon a caricature cartoon on google images. I thought why not make my own version? The proportions of the hands are a bit off, but that won't stop me from posting it :)
I used adobe photoshop, and an XP-PEN tablet by the way.
Today, I updated Reya from the Elvin Girls, and here she is so far.
In this illustration is an alien girl radiating blasts of energy from her body.
Midnight is a current work in progress that I was painting in Photoshop, but at this point I might switch over to Illustrator for the sharper vector line work.
I wanted to create a scifi fantasy character with golden synthetic arms that could transform into killer weapons so while I was drawing in the makeshift notebook this character came to mind, and brought itself to life.
I’m still working on what I want for the background, but this is what we've got so far.

Today, I was a bit inspired (since I honestly was home with nothing to do) to create "digital paper patterns." I'm not sure exactly why, but for some reason these things are very popular and a lot of people buy them in bulk on sites like Etsy (maybe for things like arts, and crafts or to use as digital backgrounds...I don't know).
Anyways, I started playing around with my mouse, and adobe creative cloud (Illustrator + Photoshop) and this is what I basically came up with. They were fun to make as well.
Today I got some practice in, and designed these three illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. The first is a purple, and white gradient elephant, the second is a colorful floral wreath, and the third is a leaf patterned digital paper try-out.
I was inspired to create a colorful flaming Phoenix illustration from a few black, and white Phoenix images I saw while casually surfing the web a few days ago.
